Help Bring the 2026 UTEP Latin Music Festival to Life!
The UTEP Latin Music Festival is more than a concert series; it is a vibrant educational initiative that connects students with internationally respected performers, expands awareness of Latin American musical traditions and strengthens the cultural life of our border community. The festival aims to provide free public performances and educational master classes and foster a sustained celebration of the rich musical heritage of Latin America. As the festival continues to grow, it is becoming a signature cultural tradition that reflects UTEP's commitment to artistic excellence, student success and community engagement.
Following the tremendous success of our inaugural festival in 2025, the UTEP Department of Music is proud to present the second annual UTEP Latin Music Festival, held on October 23–25, 2026. We are excited to announce that we are expanding the 2026 festival to provide even greater artistic excellence, educational opportunities and community engagement.
This year's festival will feature internationally acclaimed guest artists Natalia Vanegas Escobar, DMA, a Colombian pianist and recent Doctor of Musical Arts graduate from the University of Memphis, and Ricardo Saeb, DMA, an internationally recognized Mexican guitarist. Through evening concerts, public master classes and educational activities, these distinguished artists will work directly with UTEP guitar and piano students, providing mentorship and networking opportunities. Festival audiences will also enjoy performances by talented UTEP students, showcasing the next generation of musicians inspired by these remarkable artistic collaborations.

Help us reach our fundraising goal of $5,000 as we continue building one of UTEP's most distinctive artistic traditions. Your generosity will bring world-class Latin American artists to El Paso, provide educational experiences for UTEP students and enrich our community through the power of music.
Your support helps make these extraordinary opportunities possible. Donations will directly contribute towards the costs of guest artist travel, lodging, educational programming, concert production and student learning experiences, ensuring that all concerts and master classes remain free and open to the public.
