Expanding global learning opportunities is a cornerstone priority at the UTEP School of Pharmacy. By providing financial assistance for student travel, we empower future pharmacists to broaden their perspectives, explore healthcare systems around the world, and cultivate a global mindset, skills essential for leadership in today’s healthcare landscape.
This initiative, part of the Raise Your Pick UTEP Giving Day campaign, directly supports the required Study Away and Study Abroad experiences within the Doctor of Pharmacy program. Because participation in these experiences is a required component of the curriculum, donor support plays a key role in easing the financial strain students face as they prepare to meet this important academic milestone. Funds raised will help cover travel expenses, lodging, and related fees, ensuring equitable access for all students while reflecting the UTEP Edge values of Access, Global Awareness, and Leadership.
