Help us fund Dr. Natalicio’s vision for student success
Dr. Diana Natalicio was a pioneer in higher education. As the President of the University of Texas at El Paso for more than 30 years, she believed in elevating excellence and access for all students. The Diana Natalicio Institute for Hispanic Student Success was established at UTEP in 2021 to continue this vision and further her legacy.
Dr. Natalicio believed that higher education was a powerful path for social mobility, but she recognized that colleges and universities have to be intentional in the way they support economically disadvantaged students. UTEP became a national model for this work and the Institute is dedicated to furthering research into these practices and sharing them more broadly.
This year, we are raising funds in Dr. Natalicio’s memory to support the Graduate Fellowship in Higher Education program. We invite UTEP alumni, friends, and community members to join us in this effort. Your generosity will directly support graduate students committed to expanding access, opportunity, and excellence in higher education.
Raise your pick and give for the future!
