Experience the timeless love story of Romeo and Juliet! Support the Fourth Season of the Madeline Park Shakespeare Festival!
The Madeline Park Shakespeare Festival returns for its fourth season, and we need your support to bring this magical event to life. This beloved, family-friendly festival is free and for all ages, but we can't make it happen without your help.
We're aiming to raise $4,000 to cover essential production expenses. Your contribution will not only help us create an unforgettable event for our community, but it will also provide UTEP Theatre and Dance student cast members with invaluable experience in their field of study.
This September, we're excited to invite you back to Madeline Park for a bilingual adaptation of Shakespeare’s classic Romeo & Juliet. Our cast, including UTEP students, guest professionals, and even a walk-on role for an audience member, will take you through this story centered on the power of love.
As in previous years, the festival will also host a vibrant market showcasing arts, crafts, and food vendors, including delicious sandwiches from Savage Goods and Desert Moon. Preshow entertainment will feature dancing lessons, a talented juggler, a tarot card reader, and captivating live performances by groups such as El Paso Opera and Capoeira El Paso
Your Part in the Play
Your support is the key to making this event possible! Help us reach our goal of $4,000 by August 29 and join us in bringing Shakespeare’s timeless tales to life under the stars at Madeline Park. Together, we can reignite the magic of Shakespeare for our community once again!
Plus, if you donate $100 or more, you'll receive a framed, signed show poster that can be picked up at the event.
Mark Your Calendars
The festival runs September 19, 20, 26, and 27 from 6 to 9 p.m. Bring your blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic baskets, and join us for an evening under the stars.
Giving ends August 29th at 11:59 PM MST.
If the fundraising goal for this campaign is exceeded, additional donations will expand the resources available for the Madeline Park Shakespeare Festival.
