This friendly competition brings together Registered Student Organizations to showcase their Miner pride and make a difference in the lives of fellow students, all while competing for funding and fun swag! While registration is now closed, the challenge continues to amplify student voices in UTEP philanthropy and connect organizations with campus causes they care about.
Challenge Objective & Prizes
Student Organizations who earn the most Miner Bucks (i.e. points) after completing a series of fun and meaningful philanthropy activities will win the following prizes:
- 1st Place: $400 to their chosen UTEP fund + $400 to their organization
- 2nd Place: $250 to their chosen UTEP fund + $250 to their organization
- 3rd Place: $100 to their chosen UTEP fund + $100 to their organization
Activities
Leading up to Raise Your Pick, Student Organization members have been engaging in various challenge activities such as:
- Thank You Card signing parties
- Advocate Trainings
- Social Media Posts
- Petey Bank Decorating
The challenge culminates at the RYP Block Party on Wednesday, April 22 from 11:30am – 1:30pm where these organizations will compete for final points to take 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place!
